Safety Tips

Hey there! We want you to have a great time using Bye Catfish Dating while also being safe. We’ve put together some safety tips that we hope will help you feel confident and secure while using our platform. Remember, your safety is our top priority, whether you’re chatting online or meeting up with someone in person. Although we can’t control the actions of others, we want to help you take the necessary precautions to keep yourself protected. We’re excited for you to find genuine connections through our platform and hope these safety tips will be useful. Happy dating!

The first meeting

  1. If you’re planning to go on a first date, it’s always best to choose a public location like a cozy restaurant or a nice coffee shop. In case your date wants to meet up at their place or somewhere isolated, it’d be best to cancel the plans. Remember to prioritize your safety and comfort above everything else.
  2. It’s always okay to stick to your own boundaries and make decisions that feel right for you. It’s important not to let anyone pressure you into doing something you’re not comfortable with, like drinking too much alcohol or taking illegal substances. Remember, you have the power to choose what’s best for you and your well-being. So go out there, enjoy yourself, and stay safe!
  3. Use your own transportation if possible. It gives you the flexibility to leave whenever you need to. In order to ensure your safety and NO NOT arranging to be picked up from your home.
  4. It’s always a good idea to let your loved ones in on your plans, especially when it comes to dating. Always inform a close friend or family member about your plans and when they can expect you back? You might also want to arrange to check in with them after each of your first few dates, just to let them know how it went.
  5. Make sure you have a fully charged mobile phone with emergency numbers easily accessible. It’s always important to be prepared, just in case.
  6. Keep your bag and drinks within your line of sight at all times. It’s always good to stay aware of your surroundings and keep your belongings safe.

Trust your own judgement

We encourage you to trust your own instincts when chatting with new users. If you feel like someone is giving off some red flags, don’t hesitate to put your safety first and take a break from chatting with them.
